All orders will be shipped via Fedex unless specified otherwise. All shipping charges will be added to your invoice. Fedex orders are shipped with tracking numbers and are fully insured. Contact Mustangs, Etc. in the event of any damage to your shipment. Every effort is made to process and ship your order in a timely manner. Packages that weigh 150 lbs. or less and exceed 108 inches in length or 130 inches in length and girth will be considered "oversize" packages. Oversize packages will be rated based on the greater of the package's actual rounded weight or dimensional weight. In addition, an oversize charge will apply. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
The length and girth of a package is length plus (two times the height) plus (two times the width). If the dimension includes a fraction, a fraction of one-half or greater will be rounded up to the next whole number; less than one-half will be rounded down to the next whole number.
The carrier is responsible for delivering your merchandise in good condition. It’s best to inspect each package upon delivery. If necessary, note the damage to the driver and contact Mustangs, Etc. to start the Damage Claim process. We cannot replace damaged merchandise if a damage claim has not been made. We are here to help! Please keep the merchandise in the original condition you received it and save all the packaging and boxes. Fedex may want to inspect it.
Various items are too large for Fedex to handle. Fenders, hoods, quarter panels, and more... Truck freight shipments must be inspected for damage before the driver leaves the merchandise. This includes deliveries with no visible or obvious signs of damage. If damage is found, it must be reported to the driver. Signing for the delivery is an acknowledgement by the customer that all items were received in good condition. Once a delivery is signed for, Mustangs, Etc and/or the Trucking Company will not be responsible for damaged parts in that shipment.
The customer is responsible for shipping costs (both ways) on all shipments for which delivery is refused.
Mustangs, Etc. must be contacted concerning any missing item within 72 hours of delivery.
We make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours. On occasion, a particular part may be unavailable and out of stock. When this occurs we will backorder the item and notify you when the part is available. We will charge you only for the parts we ship. If you prefer, you may cancel any backorder at anytime.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. You must include a copy of your original invoice and a return authorization number. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, and any returns sent C.O.D. will be refused. Always insure your return! Items need to be unused and in resaleable condition. Returns may not be painted, stripped, installed or modified. Items ordered in error may be subject to a 10% restocking fee and will not receive a refund on shipping charges. Certain items are not returnable. Electrical parts, stripe kits, decals, books, special orders, or any parts that have been used, cannot be returned. Used, refurbished, rebuilt and NOS parts are returnable only at the sole discretion of Mustangs, Etc and are subject to a restocking fee and will not receive a refund on shipping charges.
We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, item is grossly misrepresented, etc.) However it is up to the customer to determine proper fitment and application prior to placing an order. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Cores must be drained of all fluids and wrapped in plastic to prevent leakage. The returned core must be in good, rebuildable condition and moveable parts must not be locked, frozen, or rusted solid. No bent or welded shafts, cracked cases, broken or missing parts, deep grooves, or disassembled cores will be credited. Returned core must be the same part as rebuilt unit purchased. Core pricing does not reflect the actual value of the part and is only an incentive to return the part to us. JUNK PARTS sent as cores will not receive core credit and cannot be returned to sender. The condition of any core will be determined by Mustangs, Etc.
